Stylish Yet Modest Wedding Gowns...It Doesn't Have To Be An Oxymoron! :)
Modesty....
Weddings are hectic enough...but adding modesty to the equation can make them MUCH more difficult! There are few modest options for brides and bridal parties that can be considered stylish as well. I came across a website that I came across that possesses the stylish elements of a wedding gown and incorporates modesty in with the details. The designer is from Spain. His line is relatively new. As you will notice on his site, there are only two collections: 2008 and 2009. His line is called "San Patrick." Keep in mind that site is also in Spanish. You can change the language by clicking on the little bar in the left hand corner that says "other languages." Here's the website:

In this site, you will find many dresses that include lace boleros to enhance the modesty of the gown. There are also a few gowns that are made with elbow length sleeves.
Some of the modest stlyes in the 2008 San Patrick collection are:
Chic Collection: Binefar, Belgica, Belice, Broche, Berna, Balsamo, Brilliante (depending on chest size), Basalto, and Brindisi.
Elegance Collection: Birmania, and possibly the Balconese.
Duchesse Collection: Brenda, Bangor, and the Barbados.
Gold Collection: Bucle, Bomeo, Budapest, and the Barcino.
Tulle Collection: Brades (depending on chest size), Barima, and the Bari (depending on chest size).
Flounces Collection: Boehmia (depending on chest size).
My personal favorites from the 2008 collection are: Balsamo from the chic collection, Bomeo from the gold collection.
Some of the modest stlyes in the 2009 Sanpatrick collection are: Piccola, Pluma, Paladium, Paloma, Prosa, Papua, Polka, Pascua, Pineda, Pricilla, Puente....there are many more.
My personal favorites from the 2009 collection are: Pineda, Promesa.
Obviously, modesty standards tend to be different per individual, so...you can browse this site and find out if any of these styles work for you!
You can find out if this line is carried in a store near you by clicking on the "where to buy" link in the left hand corner. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I did! San Patrick's combination of fine satin and laces is sheer genius! :)
